Jane E. Petty, 74, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Sept. 29.
She retired after a career in elementary school education. A 19-year Village of Oak Creek resident, she enjoyed volunteering as a docent at the Sedona Heritage Museum and making artwork from pine needles.
She is survived by her husband Richard; daughter Janice of San Jose; two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Per her request, there will be no service.

Jo Page has worked at Larson newspapers as typesetter since 2010. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. Fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
