Patricia Pelter Foster, 93, of Sedona, died May 24.
After retiring to Sedona in 1986, she served as chairwoman of Sedona Welcomers for over 25 years. A member of University Women, she was a longtime member of The Church of the Red Rocks. In 2017, she was honored with the Shining Star award recognizing for her many years of service to the Sedona community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and son, Douglas.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa [Michael] McGirr; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
