James “Jim” G. Ellis, 88, died Oct. 18.
An Air Force veteran, he served in Vietnam and was awarded the Silver Star. A professional water colorist, he exhibited and won numerous awards in galleries and art shows.
He is survived by his sons Jim [Raquel Espinosa] Ellis and Andy Ellis; daughter Kate [Rodd Baumbach] Ellis; and three grandchildren.
A memorial artwork showing will be held on Sunday, March 26, at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
