Every zodiac sign is in every person’s birth chart somewhere. It may not be your sun sign, but each sign is in all of us. You don’t have to know astrology to feel its effects, but more and more people see benefit in a heads up from the stars above.
Who hasn’t heard that full moons bring such full emotions that jails and mental wards become full. Would it make sense, then, that as we see the moon grow fuller, we keep a good grip on our feelings so as not to be out of (self) control.
We get at least one full moon each month. The next one coming is Thursday morning, March 8 at 2:38 a.m. Sedona (mountain) time. Full moons affect us for 2 full weeks as they dwindle in size to become a new moon. They bring things to a head, put full light on the subjects and characteristics of the zodiac sign that it is in, and they can be used to diminish and lessen those same traits that we wish to let go of.
This full moon is at 18 degrees of Virgo. Here are some traits of Virgo. Keep in mind not all traits show up in a person but these are its characteristics: work; serving others; being refined, appropriate, proper and polite; shy; gentlemanly or ladylike; organizing; editing; planning; making lists; being detail-oriented; analytical; logical; practical; clean; health concerned; diet and exercise conscious; our habits and routines; perfecting; and is earthy. There are two sides to the coin so on the other hand, it can be worrying; picky and criticizing; obsessing; or overly striving for perfection… things we may want to consciously decrease as the full moon reduces its size each night.
Mars has been in Virgo since early November 2011, getting us activated, motivated, passionate, turned on and revved up to go go go, about the above characteristics, but mid January 2012 he went retrograde (backwards) in Virgo, putting on the brakes, and urging us to go within to ponder and hang out with this type of deep dialogue internally, so that when he goes forward again mid April, Mars will again light the ignition and we’ll know exactly what to do, how to do it and JUST DO IT!
So does it sound to you like this full moon puts full light on the Virgo subjects, and come mid-April all will have been well thought out and we’ll be better for it? That’s how astrology is a guide to raise us up.
Since Mars rules intimacy and passion, our energy level and get-up-and-go go go, don’t be alarmed if your intimate relationships haven’t been growing so fast. If issues have been surfacing between you and your beloved, it’s so that they can be discussed and worked out. Some relationships seem to be at a stand-still or unraveling, but if they’re meant to last, they’ll get more pep in their step mid-April. Same with your energy level. Same with your job, your habits, your logical mind, etc.
Wouldn’t it stand to reason, then, not to make a big important movement to advance now? Since Mars isn’t pulling us forward , but lacking in energy to accelerate? If you’ve met someone very special and can wait till near the end of April to be more intimate, it could be in the best interests of that relationship if you want it to last for a long time. You may find old relationships surface. That doesn’t mean they are necessarily to go forward with, again. Wait and see. Mars also rules anger, and surgery, so wait on initiating a legal battle, and can you schedule that surgery after mid April, unless it’s a redo?
In any event, be patient, define what you really want passionately in your life, give the answers time to surface, look at issues that come up so they can be put to rest, and speaking of rest, lots of rest is a good thing these days. Who says that isn’t the perfect and logical thing to do these days, or a habit that could be right for now? There’s a time for everything under the sun, and when Mars, ruling our energy level, is retrograde/backwards, doesn’t it make sense that the opposite may be right and true right now? So, relax. Literally.
