Swordfish swim to second-place spot1 min read

Swimmers from all over Northern and Central Arizona were in town to show off their swimming skills.

The Red Peaks Aquatic Club hosted the Sedona Splash Invitational on Friday, June 22, through Sunday, June 24, at the Sedona Community Pool. The three-day event was the 24th annual invitational hosted in Sedona.

“This meet was the largest meet we have ever put on, and it was incredible,” said A. Jay Bronson, head coach of the Sedona Swordfish.

The Bullhead City Barracudas, Kingman Dolphins, Flagstaff Snow Sharks, Cottonwood Clippers and, of course, the Sedona Swordfish all competed.

Swimmers from the ages of 5 to 18 participated in 98 events.
