The Sedona Red Rock High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is excited to announce its inaugural class for 2025, which includes some of the top athletes to ever walk the halls in the history of the program.

SRRHS HOF Committee Chairman Harry Schneider, a long-time track and field coach for the Scorpions, said that over the past year, former coaches, administrators and community members with ties to SRRHS’ athletic history since its inception in 1994 met to honor the best athletes and teams at the school.

The nine inductees include: Kelly Busche, swimming; Whitney Cooper, softball; Kevin Cox, track and field; Jake Grodzinsky, golf; Carlos Lattanzi, swimming; Hannah Ringel, track and field; Michael Sells, basketball; Liza Westervelt, basketball; and McKenna Woodford, volleyball.

“SRRHS opened its doors 30 years ago and it seemed fitting to honor the outstanding achievements of our past athletes and inspire future athletes by establishing an athletic hall of fame,” Schneider said. “This will be an annual process as we continue to acknowledge outstanding SRRHS athletes. I’m so grateful to everyone who participated in this process, including the Scorpion Booster Club for sponsoring it.”

The committee first focused on the “best of the best” throughout the 30-plusyear history of the athletic program, before focusing on nominees from 1997 through 2001. The inaugural nine inductees SRRHS Hall of Fame Class of 2025 are:
