Sedona Sunrise Center for Adults Board President Linda Yee stepped back in as the nonprofit struggles to keep an executive director.

Ann Eller served as executive director for the organization from March to early June, but left for health reasons, according to Yee. Joy Cower served as executive director prior to Eller’s run.

Yee said her role will include strengthening the organization’s finances.

“The Board of Directors asked me to come back and take on the director role until the end of the year to help turn around our financial situation,” Yee said. “When we opened, some [board members] left, and we added more on. There’s always been about eight members,” Yee said. “They are fabulous. They’re a working board. We have four major fundraisers during the year. They do them, including the Superstar event.”
