Angels keep perfect record intact with win over Thunder1 min read

This week’s Little League game of the week goes to the Angels.

Sedona’s Little League Minors team kept its perfect record intact after beating the Verde Valley Thunder 15-5 Tuesday, May 14, at Posse Grounds Upper Field. The score could have been much higher, but the five-run Little League rule was put into effect after each time the Angels were at bat.

Their next game will be Tuesday, May 21, at the park.Even though the Angels took control of the game early, both teams demonstrated a type of hustle and eagerness that is a lot of times lost in higher levels of the game.

Moses Marasco pitched three of the four innings played, continually catching batters off-guard with his accurate pitching.

The Thunder tagged Marasco for three runs early in the game, but Marasco quickly settled in, striking out the side in the first inning.
