Clifford Paul Lutz, 77, of Sedona, died Sunday, Oct. 13.

He was preceded in death by his sister Pat O’Brien, brother Edward Leo Lutz and parents Leo Edward and Anna Lutz.
He is survived by his wife Cathryn [Whitesell] Lutz; daughter Kathleen Sansone of Nokesville, Va.; son Mark Clifford Lutz of Fairfax, Va.; sister Loretta Granger; and grandchildren Jennifer Anne Lutz and Bryan Christopher Lutz, both of Fairfax, Va.

Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Sedona.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
