West Sedona School class gets students’ stories ‘in the can’1 min read

A few middle school students have the opportunity to learn Friday mornings from cartoonist and screenwriter, Tom Fox, during the Artist in the Classroom series at West Sedona School.

Fox is teaching screenwriting in Deb Sanders’ seventh- and eighth-grade gifted students class.

In order to be eligible for the class, students must show an interest in screenwriting, have high grades, a referral letter from one of the school’s teachers and a high level of competency in language arts, Sanders said.

Fox is a published local author. The class was lucky to have him, Sanders said.

For the full story, see the Friday, Nov. 29, edition of the Sedona Red Rock News.
