Mary Margaret Speirs, of Sedona, died Dec. 28.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 65 years, Jack B. Speirs, 91, on Nov. 7, 2013.

She is survived by her brother Hugh Mahoney; sister Roseanne [Piz]; sons James T., John D. and Robert C.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A dual commemoration is tentatively planned for Saturday, Feb. 15, in Southern California.

Andrew Pardiac

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
