Charles William Miller, 97, of Sedona, died Feb. 28.

He was active in several organizations including the Sedona Historical Society, Verde Valley Archaeology Society and Sedona Public Library.

He was preceded in death by his wife Esther.

He is survived by his son Paul Miller; daughter Karen Stupak; sister Josephine Olason; grandsons John [Antonia] Stupak and James [Kelly] Stupak.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sedona Elks Lodge are suggested.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
