Utopia, the impossible dream. A perfect society where everyone is content at both the social and economic levels.
What does it even mean? Writers since the beginning of the written word through the Utopian literary movement started by Thomas More’s “Utopia” have struggled with the idea, from “Herland,” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman to “Imperium in Imperio,” by Sutton E. Griggs.
Now, a new reality show, simply called “Utopia” will attempt to tackle the problem. The kicker? The show is looking to Sedona for one of the stars.
The show, which is cast by the Conlin Company, will be aired on Fox. The show will begin filming in September, according to a press release.
