The Housing Commission had announced a second meeting to be held that evening, but due to a special City Council work session scheduled for that same evening, the Housing Commission’s informal meeting and the regular Housing Commission meeting scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, have been cancelled.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss affordable housing issues and strategies with housing commissioners, including the proposed Accessory Dwelling Unit ordinance and the proposed Community Plan text amendment to allow increased density in specific areas of the city for affordable housing. There is no set agenda — your questions and interests will lead the discussion.
The proposed Accessory Dwelling Unit ordinance as well as a link to the proposed Community Plan text amendment is available on the city’s Web site at www.SedonaAZ.gov/housing.
