Where are you from?
Cottonwood.
What sports do you play?
Cross country and basketball.
Which is your favorite?
Cross country, because I’m really close with everybody on the cross country team.
What’s the worst part about it?
Mental toughness. It takes a lot of mental toughness.
Do you have any favorite professional sports teams or athletes?
I like the [Los Angeles] Clippers but I don’t really watch them anymore.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not playing sports?
I play the guitar and chill with friends.
What’s your favorite television show?
“Rick and Morty.”
Favorite food?
Tres leches cake.
Favorite book?
“Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter.
What do you aspire to be when you’re older?
A professional philanthropist.
What kinds of valuable lessons has your sport taught you?
Persistence and the importance of dedication in everything.
How do you balance sports, school, family and social life?
I don’t sleep. I don’t get any sleep.

Not really.
