Where are you from?
I’m originally from California — San Diego.

When did you move here?
About six years ago.

What sports do you play?
I do volleyball and track.

Which is your favorite?
I like both in separate ways.

When did you start playing?
Volleyball I started playing in seventh grade, and track eighth grade.

What’s your favorite pump up music right now?
Katy Perry is pretty good, she’s pretty cool. Keith Urban, I love his music.

Dream job?
I’m going to become an RN, but of course I’d love to become a professional athlete, either vaulting or volleyball.

Favorite class in school?
Sports medicine.

Do you have any pregame or premeet routines or superstitions?
I always visualize vaulting … and I’ve got to jog around a little bit.

Describe your coach in one word.
Passionate.

Describe yourself in one word.
Determined.

What makes a good teammate?
I think a good teammate means being super positive, always cheering on your other teammates, but telling them how they can improve, even if it hurts them a little bit.

What are the benefits of playing high school sports?
To know that you can always push yourself to the next level, being determined, never giving up. Good social skills.

What is your most memorable sports moment so far?
When I was in ninth grade, I PR’d by a foot or something in vault, and it was at state and it was amazing.

What are your future goals?
I want to become a nurse anaesthetist.
