Where are you from?
I’m from Sedona.
What sports do you play?
I only play softball.
When did you start playing?
When I was in fifth grade.
What’s your favorite part about it?
Just being with the team.
Do you have a favorite sports team and/or athlete?
It would definitely be Jennie Finch. She’s the best pitcher I know so far.
What’s your favorite pump up music right now?
It would have to be Calvin Harris.
Dream job?
Being a radiologist.
Favorite class in school?
It would have to be sports medicine.
Do you have any pregame routines or superstitions?
Superstitions would be not crossing the white lines on game day.
Describe your coach in one word.
Hard-working.
Describe yourself in one word.
Trying to be the team leader and motivator.
What makes a good teammate?
Communication and just determination.
What are the benefits of playing high school sports?
You get to have life skills for after you graduate.
What’s your most memorable moment from your sports career?
There was this one time I was slap hitting and I was running to first, and I did not tie my shoes, so I kind of like spiraled and crawled all the way to first base.
What are your future goals?
My future goals are to get my associates [degree] for radiology, and just moving up to get my bachelor’s.
What are you looking forward to most after graduation?
Sleeping in.
