Sedona Red Rock High School’s boys and girls basketball teams cruised to victory on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
The girls remained undefeated in Central Region play, defeating visiting Glendale Preparatory Academy 55-28. They remain ranked No. 3 in the Arizona Interscholastic Association Conference 2A poll behind No. 2 Leading Edge Academy – Gilbert and No. 1 Valley High School from Sanders.
The boys beat Glendale Prep 72-47. After narrowly losing to Prescott High School on Jan. 6., they have won three straight and four of six and have risen to No. 11 in the 2A rankings.
Their streak will be put to the test against No. 3-ranked Paradise Honors High School Friday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. The girls will play first, at 5:30 p.m.
